represent both buyers and sellers of real estate in
commercial, residential, ranch, conservation, and
bare land transactions, and the negotiation of
leases, easements, construction agreements, and
other real estate agreements. In the development
area, we represent the developers of commercial and
residential subdivisions and condominium projects,
but also represent individuals and groups which have
concerns about a proposed subdivision, and advise
surveyors and engineering consulting firms. In the
financing area, we represent both lenders and
borrowers in loan transactions, loan renegotiations,
foreclosures, and other loan-related issues. In the
access area, we have a great deal of experience in
helping landowners solve access problems, preparing
and negotiating easement agreements, addressing
access issues during the development of real estate,
and handling issues relating to public roads. In the
1031 exchange area, we have an affiliate which acts
as the qualified intermediary in a large volume of
1031 exchanges, but more importantly our attorneys
are able to provide buyers and sellers with
sophisticated tax advice concerning 1031 exchanges. And when real estate disputes arise, if they can’t
be resolved through negotiation, we have a number of
lawyers with a great deal of experience in real
estate litigation.
