Jane E. Cowley has a diverse practice, with a
primary focus on
real
estate,
litigation
matters, and
family
law. Jane
earned her J.D.(2002) and Masters of Social Work
(2001) from the University of Connecticut, where she
participated in a dual degree program. She earned a
Bachelors of Arts from Puget Sound University in
1994, and provided social services in Portland,
Oregon for four years before entering graduate
school. This combined academic background helps her
understand the legal and human impact each case has
on her clients.
Jane joined the firm in July of 2005. Prior to
practicing with Worden Thane P.C., she worked in the
Missoula office of Montana Legal Services
Association. Her work there involved domestic
violence and child abuse cases, and included the
supervision and support of bachelor and master level
social work students.
Jane is a member of the Montana Bar Association
and Western Montana Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in
Montana State and Federal Courts.
Jane comes from Idaho's silver valley. She and her husband stay active in
Missoula sports, and are kept busy by their young
daughter and son.
